Classroom Grading Middle School Spanish

Students will take home the Spanish books Avancemos 1b (Grade 8) and Avancemos 1A (Grade 7) at the beginning of the school year and return them at the end of the school year.
 
Parents are responsible for paying or replacing the damaged books, in the case that a book cannot be repaired.
Homework Policies
Late homework is not accepted,except for special circumstances.
Regarding absences: Daily ,class based assignments on Google Classroom need to  return it . Furthermore
 students should take notes from classmate to prepare for quizzes, tests, or assignments.
 
 
 
 
 
Classroom for each grade ; homework, tests,quizzes are posted weekly for each grade.

Expectations  Grade
It is mandatory that all students understand the Classroom Behavioral Performance grade.
All students begin the quarter with a 100% score.The score will be negatively impacted by any behavior that
interferes with others' learning or disrupts the classroom environment, including, but not limited to
  • Disruptive behavior.
  • Disrespectful behavior toward classmates or teachers.
  • Failure to stay in their seat during lessons.
  • Inappropriate use of technology during class time.
  • Lack of required materials for class.
  • Talking excessively.
  • Refusing to comply with the teacher's requests or rules. 
 
 
Academic Honesty, devices, classwork, assignments, homework.
Cheating, including the use of apps and websites during a test or quiz, is not permitted and will result in a 
grade of zero. Note that each class reviews plagiarism and should be aware of what plagiarism means and how to avoid it.Chromebooks / laptops and headphones are not to be used  unless directed to do so.
 
Online Resources provide support for the materials in class, and are used in conjunction with the corresponding assignment. The page focuses on further examination and development of the skills necessary for effective writing.

Any assignment not submitted by the specified date is considered late unless you have a special situation.

Extra Help 
Extra help is offered after school on Tuesday until 3: 10.
After school provides support for the material  covered in class.
