St. Catherine of Siena School Trumbull, CT

Dear Parents,

Welcome to the St. Catherine of Siena Adopt-A-Book program. The purpose of this program is to provide appealing and enriching new books for our school library in order to foster a love of books and reading in our students.

A few books have already been “adopted” and “placed” into our library. Sr. Anne Marie’s family made a generous donation for books to be purchased in loving memory of her years of service to our school. A few other families have purchased books in honor of their children/grandchildren. Each adopted book has a beautiful bookplate inside the front cover identifying the honoree. Please visit the library and see our “new additions”.

There are still many special books waiting to be adopted and placed in our beautiful library. The books are library quality and have been pre-purchased by Mrs. Hamilton. Books range in price from $10.00 to $30.00. Every adoption will be recognized by a bookplate, thank you to the purchaser and a letter of acknowledgement sent to the honoree. The books are an excellent and lasting way to celebrate a child’s birthday, academic or athletic accomplishment. They also make a touching tribute in loving memory of a family member. Books can also be purchased just because you love to read and recognize the value of quality books in the lives of our children. Please consider adopting a book now, or the next time you have something to celebrate. The Adopt-A-Book program runs all year.
