About St. Catherine of Siena School

Saint Catherine of Siena School exists to provide a strong moral and religious education and superior standards of academic excellence for our children in an environment that promotes belief and trust in God, respect of self and others and a lifelong appreciation of learning and ongoing spiritual formation.

Saint Catherine of Siena School is a co-educational grammar school for Bridgeport Diocese area students in kindergarden through 8th grade. St. Catherine provides students with an outstanding academic program in a disciplined, yet caring atmosphere dedicated to Christian principles.

Saint Catherine of Siena School is a regionally-incorporated, accredited, non-profit institution in the State of Connecticut. (The Catholic Board of Education is an advisory body composed of parents and parish representatives. The Board of Education assists the Board of Directors in the administration of our Catholic School.)

St. Catherine of Siena School offers an outstanding academic program. Strong emphasis is placed on English, Math and Science. A large majority of our students go on to College Preparatory Schools, and eventually earn advanced degrees. In a caring, disciplined environment, students are encouraged to reach their personal potential. Every child is important to us. We work with each student to develop healthy study habits, strong reading and math skills, and leadership qualities. Strong, healthy minds make for successful adults. We emphasize Christian principles and pure kindness shown to each other.
