About Us & Our Mission

Founded in 1965, St. Catherine of Siena School has been successfully shaping the lives of young children for many years. SCSS is purposefully a small school, fostering close personal connections between students and their peers and students and the adult role models. The faculty is intentional in the ways that they work with children to build a sense of community and to help them understand their role within this Catholic community. Our goal as educators is not solely in the academic realm, we strive to support students’ development in all areas: academic, social, spiritual, emotional, ethical, and physical. Saint Catherine of Siena School is a special place for children to grow into young adults.

School Mission Statement

St. Catherine of Siena School exists to provide a strong moral, religious, and academic education in the tradition of the Catholic Church. The school environment promotes belief and trust in God, respect of self and others, academic excellence, and a lifelong appreciation of learning as well as ongoing spiritual formation.

"Be who God meant you to be and you will set the world on fire."
~ St. Catherine of Siena

Student Mission Statement

As a student of St. Catherine of Siena School, I will do my best to learn about God and live my faith, to work to the best of my ability, and to treat others the way I want to be treated.

St. Catherine of Siena School is a special place for children to grow into young adults. Currently, our school population is 230 students in grades preschool through eight. We work with children to build a sense of community and to help them understand their role within this faith-filled Catholic community. Our goal is to support our families and lead our students to become lifelong learners, responsible citizens, and faith- filled individuals.
